The TreeTop Gangster Crips (TTGC) also known as the Topside Gangsta Crips (TSGC), are one of the most active street gang located on the East Side of Vinewood The TreeTop Gangsters consist of African and Mexican-Americans and falls under the Gangster Crips umbrella or the Treys. The TreeTop Gangsters are known to sport green along with blue to stay true their origin as Hustler crips
The TreeTop Gangster Crips was founded by Barrington "Bam Bam" Jones, and one of his close friends Darwin "D Loc" Windermere In the early 2000s. It's said that the founder had got into it with some "bloods" and they jumped him which led to him recruiting and politicking with other Gangster crips.As a relatively new gang compared to the rest of the city the TreeTops knew they were gonna have to make a name for their self.
There are a few sub-sets of the TreeTop Gangsta Crips, the first stretches from 112th Street to 120th Street, between bridge st and Hawick Blvd. Their cliques consist of 112th Street (Young Sacc Chkasers), 114th Street ( TreeTop Hustlers), 113th Street (Topside Gangstas), and the 118th Street (118 Strip Boys).Most of these subsets are full of young members from the ages of 13-25. The younger generation of the TreeTop Gangsta Crips seem to be more ruthless than their older homies as they are more reckless and wild than the previous generation.
In 2006 four members of the TreeTops Gangsta Crips were out looking for a good time when they ran into a group of their rivals at the store. Darion"DeDe"Dukes was one of the members from TTGC as he walked into the store his rivals would call his name as he was a known affiliate in the streets. He would get into a altercation which led to Darion getting jumped Darion would run back to his affiliates truck telling them what happen and grabbed his firearm and told another one of his affiliates to come with him. Running back into the store shooting into the crowd full of people. They would end up killing two rival members and a young woman. Darion"DeDe"Dukes and Chase "Chunky" Ali would rush back to the truck and get away. As they were pulling off LSPD would pull up and they would get into a high-speed chase which ended in a crash that also led to all four members in the car getting sentenced to prison time.
As of today in 2022 the TreeTop Gangster have been noticed as one of the most dangerous gangs in the city due to there ruthless ways of gangbanging to stay relevant and keep there name hot in the streets they do anything for money from Drug trafficking,Extortion, Money laundering,Prostitution and more illegal activities.
